Does it have to be a fight? Could I just kill someone and gain their abilities? Like, say, I used poisoned gas to kill everyone inside a gym or carbon monoxide poisoning on a scientific research building. Would I gain the collective strength of all my victims?
As a retired S.A.S riffle specialist i'd get my old 303 Rifle and take out my first few dozen targets from about 800 yards away with a sniper scope. A few dozen high end street levelers that would raise my stats to well above peak human.
I'd then use neurotoxin dart ammo that is designed to continually release sedative every 0.2 seconds to take down Daken, using his pheromones to conceal me Wolverine. Sabretooth, Deadpool, Beast and X-23. With all their healing factors stacked on top of each other as well as their other stats it's on to Hulk. Logan has given hulk a decent fight on his own by this point my HF is vastly above Hulk's and my stats aren't far below in may other ways. I take this combined power to produce a thunder claps beyond WWH levels to take down first the FF, then the nut mutants, X-men, X-factor , Avengers, Defenders, Infinity watch, Annihilators,
OK so that gives me thus far the stacked powers of (amongst others)
BRB, Glad's, SS, Ronin, Quasar, Nova, Captain marvel, Drax, immotus, Moon Dragon, Dr Strange, Hellstorm, Hulk, Namor, Thor, Herc, Vision, Photon, Sentry, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Iceman, X-man, Mr Fantastic, Miss Invisible, Human Torch and thing plus a few hundred others. Considering Strange and hellstrom on their own ahve trapped or contained ( and containing means they would be unagble to continue the fight) Dormammu, his sister and Mephisto they are next on my list. Dormammu and his sister were able to once take the power of Eternity without all thisother power added on top so that where i head next from which I then go back and defeat any being below Eternity i haven't thus far taken down. With the power of pretty much every being below Eternity added onto his taking teh skyfathers shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Wouldn't that be a bit TOO high profile? I mean, if a normal sniper kills randomers, the media is out in force. Killing for example Beast, or Spidey, or Cap (high end street levelers) would have everyone down on you in an instant, surely?
It's nigh-on impossible, even at the street level. Especially by force.
You'll need to get someone who isn't part of a team, for example. Unless you can take them all out, by which time it might be already too high profile. Otherwise, taking a street leveller out from, say, the X-men, would bring all sorts of heat down on you.
The loners are, by their nature, pretty damn tough (Punisher/Daredevil etc). No one would miss them if they were gone for a couple of days, but good luck on attempting to trap and take the Punisher out.
Going after villains might be the way to go. And hope you don't have CIS like them.
Step one: get a job as a bar bouncer. Step two: bounce the town drunks. even if each person could lift only 100 pounds... After 20 people that makes you a one tonner. Stronger faster and more durable with each win. Then move your way up...

No a better option would be go to the gym and blind side everyone lifting weight. Get past the first one and each one thereafter becomes easier. Make sure to hit a few on the treadmill for added endurance.
1. By sniping "high end street levellers first I meant non enhanced.
2. I stated I was using a special trank amo that re-released a sedative often to take down "spidey", Beast". Logan etc. I didn't kill them as i don't have to, I only have to incapacitate them.
3. Serial killers can kill dozens of people before the evidence allows the law to catch up with them. I've also been a part of "kill squads" in my S.A.S days, I had 47 confirmed kills on my record and several more "not confirmed". Several of those were going into places I "wasn't supposed to be in" and taking out someone which resulted in my team and I being the target of a large manhunt. Doesn't mean anyone get's who their after just because "everyone is down on you".
In my unit there were guy's who were brilliant martial artists, some great shooters (not "rifle specialist but better than the norm), and a couple of guys who could blow up just about anything. I was a specialist marksman. I had the high caliber rifle who would perch in some spot somewhere and cover my team as they did what they had to do. I was the guy with a 87% accuracy rate at 800 yards in semi darkness with a scope.
All I'm saying is I wouldn't go into a H2H fight because it's not what I'm best equipped to do. I'm a average fighter at best. I've studdies 5 martial arts but never graded even as high as a brown belt ( in the case of one of my styles sash- doesn't do belts- actually authentically doesn't do grading). Give me the right rifle however with the right scope and a spotter scope, The chance to make my own munitions/ammo, and I'll take on just about anyone very confidently.
