It's better than MK9, where iirc you could only play as him in the challenge tower.
At least imo, considering eventually Steam will have MKX on sale for like a tenner with all of the dlc in some ultimate edition like it did with 9 and Injustice.
Gender: Male Location: In Luna's mane, chasing STAAARS!
There's no excuse to cut a fighter out and make a pre-order. Unless it's character/weapon/vehicle skins, GTFO and leave everything where it is. But no. Every developer/publisher nowadays marketing AAA games will always take something semi-important out from side missions, to playable characters, to modes. I miss the '90s when this shit wasn't as common as it is today.
It would be less common if people didn't enable the behavior by pre-ordering the shit.

I use pre-orders to pay for the game. Kind of like layaway. Usually I do it at gamestop because if I trade in shit I don't play I get games cheaper. Hell I got both Shadow of Mordor and another game on nothing but trade ins back when they came out.
Haven't watched all of both yet, but I noticed in the 2nd one there was a little gameplay footage of what looked like a variation of Kitana's where she uses Jade's staff... Jade deconfirmed? Perhaps the mysterious woman in Jade's MK9 ending will be a new character?
And I couldn't even finish that factions video. Pointless.

How disappointing. Looks like I won't be getting it for a year or two, then.

If it turns out to be characters though, then we have a problem.
