Bardock is probably having a pleasure stroke now.
I was jumping around excitedly for a bit for the first 3 goals, then I was just reading funny jokes on twitter for the rest of the game.

Biggest semi-final win ever (previous was 5-1 also Germany over Austria)
Klose top World Cup scorer ever (over Ronaldo)
Germany top scorer in World Cup history (221 goals, knocking off Brazil)
Adding insult to insult to insult to injury.

Oh, Germany made me so very happy tonight. Now if the Netherlands win the other semi, I can die a happy man.

This is an inexcusable loss for Brazil.
No team should lose its ability to play the game with the loss of its captain and star player. That doesn't begin to explain what happened to Julio Cesar, one of the best goalies of the tournament, who's been unreliable at best tonight.
It just goes to show how truly fragile Brazil really are. They've fallen pretty hard since their 2002 team basically all retired.

You know, I'm kind of disappointed Klose didn't score more.
What was even the point of knocking Colombia out of the competition? This is exactly what happened in the European cup where Italy beated Germany only to be stomped by Spain afterwards. At least it went to show how poorly Brazil played during the whole tourney.
And I was about to make a comment about how the matches were so damn even after the groups with random events settling most of them. Brazil just proved me wrong

My god, this was like a sad Game of Thrones episode, or some nasty bdsm porn lol, I really felt sad for Brazil.
What a carnage

I saw on Belgian news that lots of German fans were leaving Brazil for fear of becoming the victim of street violence.
Another news report suggested that Brazil might go into a deeper economic recession because of this game.
Edit: Apparently by the end of the game a lot of the Brazilians still in the stadium were cheering for Germany. At least according to BBC.

Underwhelming Netherlands finally ran out of luck.

Can't say that Argentina was doing any better.

They were never my favorite team in the tourney, they are underwhelming in their own way I guess. Teams playing defense always look a bit worse than they are.

I hope the Germany we saw in the semifinal game is here to stay and this wasn't just another Germany-Portugal game where Germany looks unstoppable and then hobbles in the next game.
Or maybe Germany is just designed to destroy Portuguese-speaking teams. Look out Angola.

I didn't believe that Germany could pull through every remaining good team in the tourney but they earned it with hardwork. Good parcours, deserving win.
