They fought to a standstill prior to GM cheating.

Hulk looked physically superior.

Oh come on, at this point there's no doubt that Thor is one of the most well-rounded powerful characters in the MCU. Hulk is one-dimensional.

I never said Hulk is more well rounded than Thor I said he's the powerhouse of the team.

There's not even a clear distinction between the strengths of Hulk and Thor. At this point their feats are in the same ballpark. If you're gonna say Hulk is stronger than Thor, you have no evidence to CLEARLY or without a doubt prove your point.

So with that said, as you've admitted yourself Thor is more well-rounded and superior to Hulk in many other categories. That makes Thor more of a powerhouse than Hulk.

If anything, Hulk is the dangerous wildcard, not the reliable powerhouse

The Quinjet tells us. Common sense screams it at us. Hulk one arm ragdolled him. Hulk's arms are bigger than Thor's legs.

More well rounded or versatile does not mean the powerhouse of the team. Reliability has nothing to do with powerhouse either. Stick to the words and try not to get to upset over the obvious. Thor is the skilled warrior while Hulk is the brick shithouse of the team.

D.C. has done **** all with the Superman property theatrically. First off Thor makes 2 films within the span of the 4 years MOS has been or. Secondly, DC puts out an abomination like BvS which diverts resources from a better MoS sequel. Snyder can suck it I love Superman a million times over Thor, but Ragnarok is Herrera than any DC film released this year

Saw it yesterday.

Plot- Good. It works. No glaring holes and no obvious spots for improvement. Dragged slightly on Sakar as that was merely a mechanism to reunite Thor and Hulk.

Characters- Good. Thor is still Thor. Loki is still Loki. Hulk is always Hulk. The new additions like Valkyrie helped to round out the cast nicely.

Acting- Fine. Hela and Hemsworth/Hiddleston chemistry stood out but not much else. Dialogue and tone had a potential effect on that.

Dialogue- Poor. Too many quippy f***king jokes. Good lord. Did they learn nothing from IM3 and Thor 2? The jokes were funny for the most part but it becomes grating after a while when it is that unrelenting. Would have done themselves a favor going for a more somber/serious tone in many scenes but they played nearly every scenario they could for laughs.

Villian- Good. Understadable motivation. Significant physical threat to the heroes. Hela even had a legitimate point in [SPOILER - highlight to read]: her claim to the throne. Only two things really held her back:
1. Her sword-throwing gimmick got old after her first big battle and she never evolved from there.
2. (It just hit me) She spent half the film running around Asgard looking for a sword. laughing You would think a being as powerful and feared as her would have greater obstacles than that. Or at least find an alternative.

Cinematography- Fine. Nothing to write home about but did not f**k anything up either.

Action- Good. Way better than the Dark World. I can only assume the director made that big a difference.

Music- ?. This comes purely down to taste. Once again Marvel struggles with consistent, recognizable themes for it's characters. Thor's main theme is not heard until the very end of the film. Really, this section depends on whether you think an 80s synth track works for a Thor movie about the end of Agard. For me:

Rating: 7/10 - Good.

Better than Thor- 6.5/10 - Decent and The Dark World- 2/10 - Terrible

Lies...

Thor had the advantage when Grandmaster activated the neck device and subdued Thor...

It was 2v1...

End of story...

Both characters were ready for more. Thor wasn't standing over his body in a vulnerable position.

It was one on one and then GM didn't want to take the chance. Hulk didn't tell him to help.

Why does it even need to be said?

It should be f*cking obvious to anyone who watched the movie.

What makes me sick is these characters have always been more or less on equal preference for me but the movie Thor needs need to be smashed on this topic.

Thor had the advantage prior to Grandmaster cheating...period.

So what if Hulk didn't ask for help; he got help anyway and it changed the tide of the fight...

Nothing you can say will change the fact that it was 2v1...

Nothing...

Thor is superior to the Hulk; the movie made that clear as day...

thumb up

And that's what caused Grandmaster to panic and cheat for Hulk which turned the fight into a 2v1...
