I'm all for remakes, but I dunno. I think Silent Hill has potential for dozens of unique, interesting stories.

They did remake Silent Hill 1. It's called Shattered Memories.

Silent Hill is a series that has the potential to do something new every time. Continuity from old games doesn't matter, because the only limit is the main characters imagination, since the world molds to fit their nightmares and guilts. There isn't much point in retreading old ground when the possibilities are so endless.

No, Shattered Memories started off on the Wii and got ported to the PSP and PS2

Some PSP games were pretty cool. Liberty City Stories and Vice City were fun. Same with MGS Portable OPs.

Yeah it did have some neat games, Shame that some people looked down upon the PSP like it was a bad thing.
