Out of curiosity, what is leading you to that assumption? Admittedly, I'm not very well kept up on comics lately.

The blatant connection to Superman Red/Blue that they have, and strongly insinuating that they're both part of a whole.

Hell, they're literally shown as Red/Blue in the solicits for April:
(please log in to view the image)

With this solicit:

quote:
“SUPERMAN REBORN” finale! As this epic tale wraps up, Superman’s life is drastically changed…and that’s all we are saying for now—except that you won’t want to miss it!

Not to mention that the whole deal about Rebirth is that ALL of the heroes are the same as they were Pre-Flashpoint, they just don't remember it. Somehow, the Superman are two different characters, which gets me to the above point.

Then you have the solicit of the aftermath of the crossover:

quote:
“Superman Reborn Aftermath” part two! Superman’s life has been changed, some good is back, but the bad is back as well—with a vengeance! As Superman’s allies gather to address the looming threat of Mr. Oz, another Squad seeks revenge against the Man of Steel—and you won’t believe who made the team!

Then you also account for the changed costume..

I'm 95% sure they're merging, and I really hope that's the case.

Oh wow. I haven't seen that cover or those solicits yet. I can definitely see what you are saying. Its kind of neat seeing the two Supermen drawn together. I hope they don't do away with Lois. When Wally returned, I was wondering how the two Supermen would play out.

Thanks for posting that.

The merged Superman should be the Authentic Superman-- the Pre-Crisis Superman with full memories of his entire history from the Golden Age, SILVER Age, Post Crisis, Post Zero Hour, Post Birthright, Post IC, And Nu52 integrated. Anything else is another continuity error AGAIN.

As predicted, Post-Crisis Superman and New 52 are literally the same guy and they've become whole again in today's issue of Action Comics.

I will be updating the thread with New 52 and DC Rebirth feats, as they're valid going forward for a single character.

Superman is outright stated to be more powerful than Hal Jordan.

It's easy to miss this, due to the fact that it's not put an emphasis on, but an astronomical durability feat.

For reference, Darkseid's sum is at this point:

- Anti-Life Equation, which when inside Steve, the eye beams have one-shotted Mobius [abstract-level power]:

(please log in to view the image)(please log in to view the image)(please log in to view the image)

- Omega Effect, which Luthor has matched Mobius output:

(please log in to view the image)

- All of the Gods that the Justice League got possessed by

[Shazam is of importance, since he had this overkill:

S – S’ivaa
H – H’ronmeer
A – Anapel
Z – Zonuz
A – Ate
M – Mamaragan]

What happens when Darkseid's attack is directed at the league?
Superman shields everybody by tanking his attack [penultimate panel]:

Yeah...

You missed one thing, Superman even matched Darkseid's blast with HV.

I didn't post it because Darkseid's beams seemed to be winning, and it would only distract from this ridiculous tanking feat.

Oh and Superman is providing enough power to move Earth to Dark Multiverse. Removing him from the machine stops the earth from sinking.

https://static.comicvine.com/upload...03945-010_0.jpg

It was shown at the end of the last issue.

So just looking for chronology of Superman in OWAW, I found that Superman went to several levels

of power in one arc alone.

First, Mongul shows Superman that he is limiting his power and he needs to go all out if he wants

to beat Imperiex (Probe).

https://postimg.cc/image/wwtlg2zbx/
https://postimg.cc/image/d27jtzezh/
https://postimg.cc/image/q6d46oer1/

But even then Superman struggled to even stagger the imperiex probe even with Mongul helping him.

https://postimg.cc/image/7qsn9b37h/
https://postimg.cc/image/t0g9k5yxp/
https://postimg.cc/image/nc9yt8s0d/

This same Superman was overpowerd by Validus created by Warworld easily. And Warworld could

easily create hundreds of such holograms.

https://postimg.cc/image/hpdlvachp/
https://postimg.cc/image/jh6kq68p9/
https://postimg.cc/image/72jspvjrx/
https://postimg.cc/image/7s2l28clp/
https://postimg.cc/image/evaghu2lp/
https://postimg.cc/image/fxkn0ddp9/

Then Superman went a level above and with very high difficulty managed to stalemate one probe who

even broke his arm and then defeated it.

https://postimg.cc/image/9wmy3gyul/
https://postimg.cc/image/oslhb2xel/
https://postimg.cc/image/c17b4k871/
https://postimg.cc/image/a9ec9n1ot/
https://postimg.cc/image/4xzfoyah9/
https://postimg.cc/image/84tz8k7rx/

One level above when he managed to do it without getting his arm broken but was messed up by one

probe's explosion.

https://postimg.cc/image/yd53y29wt/
https://postimg.cc/image/z2nwagd19/
https://postimg.cc/image/vvtcqt5fx/
https://postimg.cc/image/4xzfp308d/
https://postimg.cc/image/oslhb77q5/
https://postimg.cc/image/am5qfy1zx/
https://postimg.cc/image/iewe7xnel/

Then a whole another level where he essentially oneshotted innumerable Probes like nothing.

https://postimg.cc/image/4l81ix53x/
https://postimg.cc/image/72jsq7jvh/
https://postimg.cc/image/puvnts0u5/
https://postimg.cc/image/wy3j9dyjx/
https://postimg.cc/image/k6pd2w47h/

And yet another level when Brainiac 13 absorbs the entire power of Imperiex and has the total

power of Warworld at its command, Superman still manages to stalemate B13 in raw strength.

https://postimg.cc/image/puvnttb4t/
https://postimg.cc/image/3vp96lmkt/
https://postimg.cc/image/6d10duyrh/
https://postimg.cc/image/wlc53960d/

And just how powerful was one probe? Fortress Eradicator saw just imperiex probe destroy entire

galaxies and had to fly away from lightyeard of aftershocks just to get away from it.

https://postimg.cc/image/hcm7piewt/
https://postimg.cc/image/wlc53agb1/

One Imperiex probe destroyed Maxima's galaxy.

https://postimg.cc/image/j4f6kgga5/
https://postimg.cc/image/yd53y8hod/
https://postimg.cc/image/hcm7pkrsd/

The galaxies were destroyed by probes creating a construct and channeling their power to destroy

the galaxy whose power was then channeled into Imperiex's ship.

Superman easily punches through Brainiac's force field at its weakest point.

(please log in to view the image)

This is notable because a planet busting, FTL monster was unable to even scratch the weakest point of the same force field at its weakest point.

Vril Dox made it clear that this is the same force field which his father used.

Not even Pulsar Stargrave, a neutron star could breach the force field.

Thanks, it checks out.

He doesn't have any similar feat from that haven't been posted in the thread does he?

Because on that type scale, he just has the solar system black hole

OWAW/Apokolips Now re-established precedent what was shown through implication in te Krypton Man/Red Glass/Blaze-Satannus War/DoS waaay back in 1991/92 -- a fully unleashed Superman is multiple times more powerful than his standard Elite top tier Class 100 levels at the time, a peer to Darkseid in combat(H/P Supes for example, was nowhere near Darkseid in power), can 1-2 shot kill/destroy elite top tiers/trans(above top tier on average) tier Imperiex Probes when fully cutting loose, and is absolutely on a par with Skyfather class beings. We also saw this when he saw him match Kal-L(1/2 of Silver Age Superman) and both of them directly overpower SBP(who has Silver age levels)

I'm thinking the original Sand Superman storyline explains why SBP's still above everything -- also he knows his power levels are limited by his mind since he's an expert on Superman's continuity and therefore has no limits at peak confidence)
