The super Nova that exploded was done via a yellow sun. The same stuff that powers Superman. That's like asking me if Hal can survive a blast of his own power. Do you not understand this? Then, he wasn't even right on the blast so we don't know how much hit/amped him.

I know more about both characters than most here. Nothing but high fts, I agree, nothing short of LT is stopping Hulk and Superman but looking at their portrayal battle wise, giving it to Goku.
supes has shown more gthan goku has...... everything about bout goku pertaining to supes is based of of pure speculation and no concrete evidence .......again until someone shows me goku lifting 7 quintillion tons he wont beat superman

Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
I never understood the mentality behind this. Yeah, Superman can beat a lot of characters if you ignore everything except the top percentage of his feats, especially if you use different versions of Superman. But that's a fan fiction construction and not how he's actually written.
I don't know. It seems that versus forums have degraded to where it's more about advocating certain characters than leading a constructive debate. That's why you have people cherry-picking feats, ignoring counter-evidence and making excuses rather than weighing arguments by their strengths and weaknesses.
By shit like "averages" and "consistent showings" we focus on the higher end of the spectrum without taking in obvious as **** outliers
If we were to go with actual consistent showings and try to get a mean, then we'd only get low end superhuman garbage for character supposed to be massively hypersonic planet busters
This is the kind of shit which makes me sneer in contempt at people who do the "average showings only!" shit
Not to mention it sounds hypocritical as **** when for most anime/manga series, a few, or even single feat/calc is considered to be 'definitive' of said verse's capability, yet, for some reason, other mediums don't
