Kirby’s intent was that the New Gods were the next gods after the Asgardians (the old gods). The big war that preceded the creation of the New Gods and caused the death of the old gods was meant to be Ragnorok for example.
Nope. Random New Gods were capable of creating pocket universes. Darkseid, for example, is a multiversal level threat. He's far and above the likes of Odin. At least in the comics. Orion= Thor, though.
The New Gods haxx technology is also superior. Metron created the Worlogog, Infinity Gauntlet level device. They also made the Seven Imperishable Treasures

The thread you posted shows a VERY divided voting result numbskull. It doesn't show DS stomping at all. Even with his recent MASSIVE power upgrade he still isn't going to beat Odin; and even if he does it's not a stomp.
ANYWAY This is about the movies. And Marvel is kicking DC's ass so much it hurts. I hope they get their act together and start making better films. Not for your sake because You're not a DC fan...you're a WB apologist. I want better DC films for true fans and people who'd prefer a better DCEU.

Darkseid has jobbed 1,000,000 times more than Odin in his career. And again, you can't pick the highest high for DS and the lowest low for Odin there pal. That's not how it works. Again, this is about the movie anyway.
