looking for a movie

so for the last 4 years I've been trying to find this movie. all i think i remember is this couple is robbing banks using multiple disguises some how they get caught and i swear they get locked up in neighboring prisons but they attempt to escape and i remember the guy gets shot and killed.
if anybody can help me it would be appreciated
