Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.
Also doesnt work for me that he looks Karas age but is like her 10years older cousin/brother. Because he doesnt age or whatever. Should have just gotten someone a few years older.

First glimpse of Lex and from the small glimpse he’s easily the best thing to happen to the show in years. He’s gong to be a good villain

Though i pegged every twist but two [SPOILER - highlight to read]: (the dam and Ms. Tessmacher), watching Luthor play his sister was a joy. From the initial flashback to the final face to face w. Kara, i havent enjoyed myself this much watching an ep. of this show in ages.
Just Lex yelling “MS. TESMACHER!” was worth the price of admission so to speak.
On the meh side, the J’onn/Manchester plotline is too angsty for my liking, but nothing’s perfect.
I liked the button pressing Manchester was doing to J'onn, partly so they would have an excuse to actually do something of note with the Martian Manhunter in the show again and get him out of his pacifist shell, but I guess the confrontation between them this ep was a well timed end as any.
And yeah, this Lex is great. Wasn't sure what to really expect, but said expectations were definitely surpassed.
