Re: Re: Cosmic Armor Superman Vs Michael Demiurgos
CA Superman takes this.
I'm not really updated with the latest news regarding multiversity, so if someone on the other hand is, he is invited to join the discussion.
Anyway, being said that, the last time I checked the Primal Monitor was presented as the white page where stories (and stories are the whole DCU) are written, and thus something far above and beyond everything else.
Being it the white page, nothing but also potentially everything exists in it, the concepts of good and evil are non existent like every other type of duality since Monitor's mind is non-dual.
Then, the PM happened to notice a drop of colour on itself, with that drop of colour being the entire DCU reality, so it extended a part of itself, a probe, whose aim was to map and blend with all that germs (the germs being the DCU omniverse): that probe was Dax Novu, the first and only son of Monitor.
Anyway, when Dax Novu with its limitless powers came in contact with reality, the dualities and simmetries of stories corrupted its perfect non-duality, so that probe split in two parts, as two are basically the dualities which exist in life (i.e. good and evil): the evil part was Dax Novu itself corrupted by the concept of Mandrakk, i.e. basically the evil part of the page which comes to life (and what does an evil part of page do? It devours stories (and remeber that what is a mere story for the page it's life inside the DCU omniverse)); the good part, on the other hand, is described as the last gift from Dax Novu itself before corruption, and it's a doomsday weapon made of thought, it's the CA.
Indeed, when blending with the total of reality of the DCU, Dax Novu found that it doesn't exist better story, better concept than the one of Superman; sure, Superman, despite being incredibly powerful, is still a mortal man made of flesh and blood, so he can win and also can lose, but even if he loses a fight, his idea (his concept, what he represents inside the DCU) is the most powerful thing and, ultimately, it is always going to triumph.
That's why Dax Novu, with its limitless powers granted by the Primal Monitor itself, created the Cosmic Armor, a thought which represents the idea and story of Superman and whose purpose will be to fight and defeat the evil part of the page (which is ultimately Dax Novu itself corrupted as Mandrakk); indeed, who could defeat the evil side of the page (which is going to erase stories-DCU) if not the best and most powerful story of all, ever?
Then, as it happens in Superman Beyond, the CA (controlled by the mind of Superman, basically it is Clark Kent "piloting" his own story) fights and ultimately defeats Dax Novu Mandrakk, in an epic fight outside of space and time, on the verge of the white page itself.
Basically this is a brief sum of the concepts of PM, Mandrakk and CA, and here below it's what Morrison himself said:
"In the case of comic book stories, it's the war between white page and ink. And who's to say that the page might want that particular story drawn on it? [laughs] What happens if the page is a bit pissed off at the story that's drawn on it? So I thought of the page as God. The idea being that the Overvoid"
"On the very edge of the art and the edge of the mind of God there are these two big concepts fighting – Superman and Mandrakk, Predation and Protection, Greed and Preservation, Ugly and Beautiful, Youth and Age, Good and Evil, Black and White, Is and Isn't and all the others. Beyond that crumbling ledge in Monitor-World, those concepts don't exist and it's all non-dual Monitor mind."

If we appreciate interpretation in Final Crisis or Some Morrison's work like All Star Superman, CAS will win because his "idea" the concept of Super Hero itself is greater than even writer themselves, and CAS is it's concept itself.
If not especially in actual feat, Michael will destroy CAS.
