Hard to say. He has [SPOILER - highlight to read]: immense blunt force durability (surviving impacts with speeding trains, falls off skyscrapers etc.), but we haven't really seen him go up against something like napalm before. But hey, it's comics, so if a character needs to survive, they will.

Why can't Marvel put out this kind of quality TV shows?

DC is killing Marvel on TV.

Well he did demand to go back, so either he figured he could, or, more interestingly, he figured he couldnt.

I liked this year's crossover. When I saw the Nazi theme, I was a bit concerned, given CW's history. But they managed to tell a 4-part story featuring Nazis without turning it into some nonsense virtue-signalling contest, and I thought it was a lot of fun overall. There were a few typical CW jabs in there, but it was fairly mild all things considered. And even though [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Victor Garber had been confirmed to be leaving the show last month already, his death was still a pretty hard blow. I gotta give them props for the execution there, because they really made you feel how heavy his loss was to everyone around him.

This crossover was way better than last year's.
Much less forced, with the story going where it needed, no matter who's show it happened to be.
Drama and humor mixed really well, with shining character moments throughout.
The climactic fight scene was MUCH easier to follow last year's.
And yeah, as to your spoilered comment, it hit me right inda chops.

For lack of anything else, I watched the Earth X crossover and have to admit, there were parts I really liked. Not enough to start watching any of the shows again, but it was mostly good entertainment for a couple of evenings.

I think my favourite character was [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Heat Wave and I actually laughed out loud at some scenes with [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Citizen Cold .

I know it’s because of having a better budget saved for the crossover, but aside from what was already said, I can really appreciate how better they did Metallo compared to in the Supergirl show...

But yeah, good stuff.

Yeah, and I think this is precisely why it worked so much better this year (at least IMO). Because they actually treated it like a four-part event, not just four episodes from different shows about the same topic, featuring guest stars. On the surface, those two things might sound the same, but they aren't. Not really. Because each show has a slightly different tone to it. And I felt like it caused last year's crossover to feel very disjointed and poorly paced at times. But this time around, it felt like they put a lot more work into creating a consistent tone and feel across all four episodes.

What they also did well was keeping the main season plots from the different shows to a minimum, which meant that you didn't need to follow all four shows in order to enjoy it. A couple of friends of mine only watch The Flash and Legends, but they could dive right into the other two episodes as well without becoming lost. I mean there were obviously a few characters they were unfamiliar with, but it's easy enough to pick up.

good observation!
It makes me think though, that they also used the event to advance the plot lines of each show to one degree or another [SPOILER - highlight to read]: (Thawne is out and about/Barry's marrige, Ollie & Felicity's marriage, Firestorm's fate/Captain Cold's return, Alex's dealing with her Maggie breakup); things with long lasting repercussions.
Good work overall.

I love how, at the end of the latest episode, Sara [SPOILER - highlight to read]: didn't even seem surprised that Constantine had managed to sneak onto the Waverider.

Only just saw the crossovers.

Tbh, the event seemed a little bit lazy. It had enough cool moments, like good Snart telling Mick about his double diving into a burning building, and I liked seeing Ray Terril worked into it (Marvel-esq pandering aside). All the drama bombs just felt forced though..
