From the guy who broke down the problem with Tien, now he lays out what's wrong with power levels (And Super writing in general.)

It's true, what that guy says in the video. Most Stand users WOULD one shot all of Dragon Ball.
They don't have any versatility at all, and everyone fights the same since early Dragon Ball. Even the feats are mostly the same, busting mountains or surrounding areas, and moving "faster" yet the still tracked by the weakest humans (Even in tournaments during the Buu saga, fans followed along fine, as did the play by play commentator.)

Stop watching DBS since you obviously hate it so much and only say bad things about it.
But yea, the video is pretty much on point. It's one of the reasons Naruto is a much better series than Naruto Shippuden. Naruto went from people being able to win, based on skill and what type of fighter you were facing, to winning based on super awesome super powerness of power. Key to winning in DB is super saiyan awesomeness of saiyan power.

Feat wise, Namek Saga Goku is like the second fastest character in the entire series. Aside from Hit literally stopping time or Whis traveling at intersteller speeds from point A to point B, he's unmatched with his ability to move so fast that it looks like he hasn't moved at all. After that, we're back to standard disappear/reappear stuff and the "wow, I've never seen anyone that fast!" stock phrases from the peanut gallery.
Yeah, I hate how Shippuden did that. I loved the days when anybody could theoretically beat anybody and how fights came down to seeing past all of the other guy's tactics and figuring out a way to pull off your own signature attack. But nope, in Shippuden, if you don't have a tailed beast, eye hax or reincarnation hax, you are garbage regardless of skill or experience and will always be defeated against anyone who has control over the former. And it really is a shame things turned out like this as there are so many strategical applications for the shadowclone jutsu that Naruto (or Kishimoto to be more precise) never even considered that could've averted the need for the lazy power-up after power up he received during the final arcs.

Which was why in Naruto, Sarutobi and Minato could be so powerful. Skills, and abilities made them so. Then you get to shippuden and 3rd and 4th Hokages become chumps even though they were suppose to be some of the strongest people in the village, but no hax jutsu so they have no relevance.
People ending up behind people without them seeing them move happens a lot..But then they can follow them afterward. It's a weird thing.
And like Burter says fifty million times I'm the fastest in the universe...only to have Jeice keep pace with him, Ginyu being obviously faster, and Freeza being well..Freeza.

He was born in the 80's, the decade of Top Gun. Remember Top Gun? With Maverick, the psycho ****up who totally got his partner killed?
Everyones like "You didn't kill him", indulging him at every turn, rewarding him for being a terrible person.
Meanwhile, Iceman does the job without killing his partner. We're supposed to hate him for being a stick in the mud and sympathise with the freewheeling hero, which just proves Hollywood filmmakers of the 80's were hippies in the 60's and don't get their audience at all.
The protagonise being a goofball who fixes problems HE causes does NOT makr him "relatable".. No one wants to he Maverick, EVERYONE wants to be Iceman.
It's like that with Dragon Ball, just replace Iceman with literally anyone else (Vegeta's an obvious one because of the spiky hair, but I say Piccolo is more Iceman then Vegeta.)
