air doesn't get through. That's why she can only stay inside for a limited time. But I think she can put a bubble inside him and expand or sharp Spears through him. I say she wins.

I think she can either leave the field partly open, or if it is fully enclosed she relies on the air inside until she has to open it. But it doesn't matter - there is air on both sides so the sound transmits through even if air itself doesn't. And this is confirmed by the fact that people talk through it all the time and sonic weapons have KOd her through it.
