Aside from the Twilight shit, Pattinson is a good actor.
Water for Elephants, The Ligthhouse, The Rover, The King, Tenet, The Devil All the Time. He did a good to great job in all of those.
My three biggest complaints are all visual, Pattinson doesn't look like a Bruce Wayne, the Batsuit's mask looks wonky and the Batmobile might be silly. All minor though.
I think he looks like a Year One Bruce from the shot that I saw, could be a flashback I suppose, agree on the mask though it was actually quite irritating, didn't get a good look at the Batmobile but they can almost do anything with that thing and someone somewhere will like it. Hope they don't waste screen time explaining why he donned the cape, at this point do we really need to explore Batman's origins?
