Article went into this. Dragon Ball makes a clear distinction between magic and ki, while comics generally consider ki magical in nature.
The assigned properties are not remotely comparable.

Nanda Parbat, in DC: Totally mystical. Deadman is considered magic, and a product of that city of monks..
Spectre, for gods sake (Pun intended) is considered magic. As is Etrigan, a demon. Most things with the spirit generally are in comic books.
Comics assume chi=magic all the time.
