Well, if there was ever a political implosion to be had, I imagine that getting caught openly lying about military experience of any kind would be one, at least for the Conservative base.

A few towns in CT just re-elected the bigoted taco mayor (Who the supposedly liberal Register endorsed) and another guy who went to prison for stealing money.
I dunno how most voters think anymore. Seems like dirt that results in firings and lynching for one person results in a collective shrug and media complacency for another..
