How do weaknesses work? So for example, drafting pre- 52 Aquaman - would your amalgam be weak to dehydration? Even if you drafted Plastic Man (who needs no water)?
I'll be back on later tonight and if I do or don't get word from someone(s) about competing, how about a public draft in this thread (w/ link (comicvine if available)) Friday at noon, Eastern time?
What mid-herald feats does he have? I mean, he has his stupidly low feats - like being choked by a snake - which are street level (lol), so have a look at the mid-herald tier, and choose feats which enable him to be a good match against bricks.
Mid herald - captain comet (pre resurrectionction, unless I'm allowed composite pre 52 which I'd doubt)
Low herald - Ted Knight/Starman
Mid meta (IMO could be high) - Dr Occult
God, compared to the cloak and dagger BS we used to go through with picks, I wish I got to compete against people just tossing out their picks like this.
I legit remember having to draft certain characters solely as a diversion, before switching before the deadline to do so. Then everyone caught on and it was a cluster of movement on the last day.
To be honest didgi this is how I'm used to drafts being done on other forums for tourneys. Only changing picks usually isnt allowed unless your choice was already taken or has been deemed DQ'd. It's also been a standard on some of those sites that if any draft choice turns out during a tourney to be over the limits (based on debate and showings used ) then you loose that character and don't get a replacement. Effectively you have to battle one man down. It's why i generally pick (elsewhere) well below a limit rather than pushing them as here.
Even when in "draft" tourneys the practice I'm used to is an open PM to all participants where we have a drafting order that goes up then back down up down (ie first to pick first is last to pick second ètc). Everyone sees everyones picks as it goes and again your locked into what you chose
Effectively by me throwing my draft out I've allowed everyone else the opportunity to counter what my choices bring to the table. But in the interests of fairness (since I've apparently preempted the draft) how about if i say if anyone wants any of my three picks their fair game and i change that pick for someone else. Its not like i cant find a dozen or so characters who would bring everything each choice does to the table without too much trouble.
