Lol yeah, true enough. Isn't his career high actually above All-Mights over rescues or something?
Anyway, the hero tests are pretty flawed imo.. What they should have, is specializations depending on ability and chosen path. Like Bakugou, a guy who blows things up probably shouldn't be taking part in rescue operations. And it's not like he's been subtle about only wanting to beat people up, so make him a de-facto "heavy hitter" that gets called in to hammer down nails.

Guessing that guy isn't planning on working an office job.

Yeah. On paper he's "technically" a better hero. But come on...It's All-Might.
Agreed. The testing system is bad, and several times it's noted how it's kinda unfair because it's a single test for every quirk. So the guy who could control people had a hard time because they had to fight giant robots. Going further into the hero system as a whole, the author is pretty good at over time laying out the world system, and even having heroes and situation showcase very clearly that the system is deeply flawed, but it's basically the best they've got. Like when Deku and co. beat Stain. A pro-hero had to take the credit, or they would have all gotten into serious trouble. So instead of them being boosted to Young Superstar status, they have to sit in the background and let others take credit for their literal blood, sweat and tears.
Eraserhead and other Pro's even take notice of how unfair things are, especially for the younger generation who are caught up in this escalating war.

No idea why Mirio even needs his quirk though. He's so effective with his crappy quirk, it would be a waste of a hero.
And it's not really fair comparing him to Midoriya either. Fact is, NO ONE can compete with what he's accomplished with his quirk. Not even All Might himself. He's an inspirational story for weak quirk users.
He should be allowed to be his own man, using his own quirk, and build his own legacy. Like Batman refusing a GL ring, because it would hold him back.

Too many downsides though. One mistep and he's in the center of the Earth.
But he still doesn't need One For All. All Might's old sidekick is basically looking at a guy winning every fighting tournament including Evo with a C tier character, and insisting he should "tier up" for no real reason.

This show has one of the best dubs I've seen in awhile. I also really like how everyone in the class feels like they could be useful. We might only focus on like three an arc, but I'd be down with an arc focused on almost any of them. Except the invisible chick. She's pretty one note
From the little not behind a paywall, it looks like a good dub. But it would have to be, if they're doing away with ad supported public streaming.
Looks like the critics are right, everyone hopping aboard the anime bandwagon, especially the likes of Amazon, is going to be both a blessing and curse. More anime, but divided up behind numerous pay for services, and in some cases hidden behind multiple tiers of paywall.
As a cheap bastard, I'll just do without.

Just wait until you hit the finale. A LOT of stepping this arc.

One of my favorite moments was deku thinking about his mom when fighting muscular. Showed a side anime Protaganists don't get to show very often. This arc is getting me very hyped
I'm looking forward to Deku dad, he's still oversea and we have no further information about him. The author has a chance to expand on deku dad being a major villain.
I thought he was dead? Mrs. Midoriya said his quirk wasn't that special so I don't think he'll be a major villain, but minor fire breathing thug might be interesting
