Diesel's going to be in his 60s running around in a tanktop trying to look badass.
They could cast Nicholas Hoult as a younger Riddick for the prequels, he's both a good actor and can look good as a baldie as we've seen in MM:Fury Road.
They could also go with Austin Butler, he was a decent Elvis and he can pull the bald look considering his leaked pics for his upcoming Glossu Rabban role in Dune part 2. There's other actors.
Oh, yeah, I mean, if they do flash-back stuff I do hope they cast younger actors. Vin shouldn't play teenaged or 20-something Riddick at this point, obviously.
But I don't think he should hang it up, because he's great as old(er) man Riddick.
I suspect that the new film will be only partially a prequel.
Speaking of old fogeys, I wonder why some older actors are more easily accepted by audiences and critics in action movies than others?
I mean, Denzel Washington is 68(!) and kicking ass in The Equalizer this year w. seemingly no age related blowback, but Diesel at 56 is thought to be ludicrous speed.
I don't think the meme is saying that Vin is already too old to be doing these action films. I think it's just having some fun with how these movies seem like they'll never end and he'll probably keep doing them until Fast39. I mean, whatever. I think Vin has actually aged pretty well, as long as he keeps weight off.
Fucking hell. Even if there is no truth to these claims it will probably be enough to destroy any hopes of the next Riddick film getting off the ground. Mother$*@!(*&
That's yet another problem with this retarded era of wokeness - lots of false accusations, easy to cancel someone out of spite... nigh impossible to undo it, too.
Don't kid yourself. Many times mere accusations, regardless if they are true or false, have ruined careers. I know one of my favorite video game writers, Chris Avellone, had his career ruined (and it's still ruined) by accusations despite the fact that they would be proven untrue in court and his accusers had to retract their accusations and were forced to pay him a large fee.
