Fair enough.Of course it didn't, it's vibranium. The energy powering it was still released, accounting for the majority of the destruction caused.
Link will have no need to change his load out, whatever clothes he decides to start the fight in will be fine.
The Goron tunic and iron boots would be the 'most' useful, but there's really nothing Thor can do that Link hasn't already had to deal with on a larger scale before.
The destroyer gun blew up cars. Link's arrows can harm beings that sleep through volcanic explosions, unharmed. Thor will not be tanking Link's arrows. And those are just the normal arrows.
The ice arrows can flash freeze columns of liquid lava and cool the magma chamber of a volcano for over a minute with a single shot.
The fire arrows can end blizzards.
Dangoro is a Goron. Gorons are stone giants. On top of this we can see how drastically his weight determines the tilt of the platform when Link isn't wearing the iron boots. Link with them is even heavier than Dangoro.
Rockets only move that speed outside of the atmosphere. That's why it takes them eight minutes to leave the atmosphere. Even if moving that fast through our atmosphere wouldn't destroy a rocket the energy required to get it to that speed in the lower and middle atmospheres would be completely phenomenal.
That's not even accounting for the fact that a rocket has to build speed. You cannot just use '5 miles per second' as the average travel speed for a rocket during ascent.
The hammer is fast, but it is not that fast.
On the whole, Link is faster, stronger, and better armed than Movie Thor. He's more dangerous at range due to the incredibly high destructive power of his arrows, particularly his magic arrows. He's more dangerous in melee because he's faster in combat speed, has greater reach due to the Master Sword, and greater defense because of his shield. On top of this his weapon is more powerful, and Link is physically stronger due to the golden gauntlets. Link is also incredibly durable, as demonstrated when Ganon disarms him, so even if a hammer blow lands Link is going to be just fine to keep fighting, where as a sword blow from Link will be crippling, if not immediately lethal to Thor.
Dangoro is so heavy that his fall snapped the chains that were holding up the platform. That platform they were fighting on would have weighed tens of thousands of tons.
The chains had no problem bearing the weight of that platform for a long, long time, and supported it so well that there was no sway to the platform either.
But as soon as Dangoro jumps on, the chains just snap.
Link is strong enough to not just lift Dangoro, but spin him a bit before tossing him several meters.

By being faster. Mach 300 is wrong.
So, basically, this:
And to add to this:
At the stage of the game where TP Link achieves this, OoT Link, the one fighting Movie Thor, tells TP Link that "weak as [he is], [he is] a stain on the proud green of the tunic [he] wear[s]".
That's not what I meant, though. You're asking for travel speed. Link doesn't need to outrun Mjolnir, just be able to react to it. And he reacts to faster things on the reg.
He'll walk in with the flute first. That thing stops, slows down and reverses time, controls the weather, and raises the dead. But if you're not a music lover, he also has a spell he can teleport with that is quicker. He also has a mask that makes him invisible.

That again, I'm talking about combat speed. His striking and reaction time are very quick. Link can easily react to mjolnir. I did not say he could outrun it.
The stone mask is not a transformation mask. He just slaps that on and instant invisibility. Link happens to carry his sword in a scabard on his bsck. While it is in there, he has access to one of his most powerful sword techniques.
