Classic Dr Strange vs Pre-Crisis Validus

I here these two are powerful at the perspective ways. I would assume prep makes Dr Strange might need some prep so 1 scenarios no prep and 2 with 1 days of prep for Strange. No bfr

Here's how I think it goes down, good fight by the way:

Strange does some magical shit in his bible. He gets a couple artifacts ready and practices some forbidden shit.
The day of the battle he just has this sick ass magical aura. You can't even tell what kind of magic is what, you just know it's THEEE magic.
He raises a shield and the fight begins. He starts speaking in tongues ready to cast some serious shit. His hands are just doing those rock on hands the whole time.
Validus rushes over and punches his shield killing him instantly.

Wong has anal sex with a grieving Clea the day of the funeral. No foreplay.

What if he invokes the powers of Cyttorak turning him into a Juggernaut then he could survive the punch right?

He needs to play with Cytorrak's bigass gem to do that, and Dr Strange has never been man enough to pull that off.

Though that would just wittle it down to being knocked out. Maybe not the first punch, maybe not the second, but one of those punches are punching Punchernaut hard enough to punch his lights out.

Why would he bother tanking punches?

Why not just turn himself intangible or phased, and then cast spells at Validus at his leisure?

Just couldn't resist could ya? laughing out loud

In all honesty, Strange has too many options open to him for this battle to pay off.

Maybe tighten him up a bit. Clip his wings a little, then see what he would come up with if he can't use any of his passive or bfr tactics.

Maybe he turns it into:

Validus

Vs

Doctor JuggerZom

Then we have a show!

I made this thread because I hear people always talk about how powerful these two are so I thought might be interested to see what people will say in a vs I even tried to change it up a little by a no prep fight and a prep fight for Dr Strange.

Validus is powerful in a "is really strong and durable" kind of way. Dr. Strange is powerful in a "alters the very fabric of reality" way. This won't end well for Validus.

The only saving grace here is that Strange is nowhere near as big a dickhead as Dr. Fate is...so I doubt Validus will suffer too much.

Strange eats one paw from Val and it's over. In the meantime you have to invent showings for Dr Strange where it might work on Validus.

It's like Hulk with tp defense vs Dr Strange... but also he's at Worldbreaker levels. Because Hulk vs Strange fights always end well for him...

Yes if strange gets hit he is screwed, but he tends to be able to fly, go intangible, create forcefields, etc.
