Come on, man, DC has comic wins, just like Marvel.
Fair enough.
WB should have followed the MCU formula, build individual characters, have sequel films and then have team ups for the greater shared story arc. Sure MCU fans would have cried, but it's a formula that works and Disney doesn't have sole rights to this format.
I will also never forgive WB for casting Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Mark Strong was available. Hell, any random half-ripe avocado would have been a better casting choice.
Both DC and Marvel comics have become garbage. They've been godawful for at least 10 years now. Choosing between them is like choosing between two different types of shit. It's shit either way. There's a reason why a series about a little demon hunting siscon outsold the entire American comic industry two years back.
Seriously, I went to a Barnes & Noble yesterday and there was shelf after shelf after shelf devoted to manga. While American comics were relegated to only two small shelfs. A complete reversal of how it was a few years back.

It's not that I disagree that comics are shit; it's that the vast majority of successful manga is lowest common denominator pandering garbage and Demon Slayer more than most. Truly a riddle for the ages how one of the most generic shonen of all time with execrable artwork managed to sell anything at all, let alone become one of the top selling manga of all time.
I'm mostly just amazed at how Ezra has remained legally untouchable despite everything he's done. He must've had someone from WB or someone powerful fighting for him in court for him to still be the Flash and everything.
Even if the Flash film is apparently good from what Gunn said, there's still the issue of giving Ezra money. I won't be at least. Will just wait for that storm to pass and then look forward to whatever else that might be good that doesn't have someone widely controversial as the lead.
With what Gunn announced yesterday, I guess there's plenty to look forward to. Creature Commandos (his usual thing of bringing relatively unknown characters to life), Waller show, Green Lantern show with both Hal Jordan and John Stewart, Paradise Lost (Themyscira) show, Booster Gold show, another Swamp Thing movie, etc.
