Got accidentally deleted when we were doing some spam/sock/porn cleanup, and we can't restore threads that have been permanently deleted. I won't name the mod, but it rhymes with Schmadabing.

13 episodes for Dany's invasion and the White Walkers long night? Are you f*cking shitting me?
In that case, they should have killed off Snow halfway through season 5 and not dragged it out so much. WTF at having such a slow season. Dany should have invaded by the end of season 5. 13 episodes to wrap things up after so long is underwhelming as hell.
GRRM plans to wrap up the series in two books. Considering how each season roughly covers a book, it makes sense there would only be two more. Plus those events may very likely begin in this season.
And who knows how ****ing long Dany will be a captive of the Dothraki while Jorah and Daario look for her. I'm already predicting that's going to be the thread that drags.
On the other hand, the trailers seem to suggest that Dorne and the Lannisters are going to war, even as the High Sparrow's forces are threatening the capital. I wonder if there will be some crossover between those plots, like a High Sparrow-Doran alliance.

Two seasons isn't the problem man. 13 episodes is. Does 6 or 7 episodes each season to wrap it all two books that should have the densest and biggest arcs in the entire series sound good to you? Each arc was originally supposed to be a third of the entire series back when it was a trilogy.
Who do you think Littlefinger is talking about when he tells Lady Tyrell he has a gift for her, a "handsome young man"?
He's probably talking about Lancel Lannister, but I think he could also be talking about Robyn Arryn or Gendry.
Thoughts?
