I am not defending her character by saying she didn’t went mad. She clearly did in season 8 ep 5. One stupid episode by the way.
What I am defending is the people claiming she was always mad since season 8. What I am defending is the assassination of her character in one episode.
Foreshadowing by the way, is not character development.
Littlefinger is not just cunning and ruthless, he’s a psychopath. I’ll let you decide if that’s a sign of madness. Even so, at least he acts rationally.
Holding people hostage is hardly a sign of madness. Did he kill those hostages while ranting about being the blood of the dragon?
Stannis was desperate while Mel was an uber-religious nutcase so one could indeed argue that being so devoted to your god as to burn children alive is a sign of madness.
Aegon burnt a castle down mostly full of combatants after giving them ample opportunities to surrender. Very different to what Dany did.
Well, Rhaegar was Dany’s brother and did show signs of Targ megalomania. But I’d argue that what he did was childish and reckless, hardly mad.
Thing is, when other characters did something nasty, it usually had some kind of rational reasoning behind it, while Dany’s was usually “Fire and blood! I’m the blood of old Valyria so f*ck you!” She really was more like Joffrey in that regard than almost any other character.

No threat or action anyone took In this entire series is as horrifying and worthy of madness as Dany murdering a city full of civilians after they surrendered because she could..or Cersei was still alive or whatever. Except Bran setting the whole thing up.
If I recall it's been stated he can see the past, present and future as he is humanities combined memories.
At the end bv he even said "why do you think I came all the way here?" When Tyrion asked him to be king? He knew he'd be asked. It would also explain why he allowed Jon to tell his sisters about his identity even though absolutely nothing else would come from it.
Bran saw enough to know he'd be crowned king, but didn't foresee the dragon nuking? Yeah, bullshit lol.

He saw that too. Bran even had a vision of the city being razed. He pointed out all the time how people did what they needed to do to be at the right point when this and that happened. And he directly said he was there at Kings Landing to be King. What else could he mean by that if he didn't already know what would happen?
Because Tywin would never try to defend his actions or attempt to hold a moral highground. If you confronted Tywin about the people he's killed he would tell you to your face that he did it for the sake of Lannister domination and that nothing else matters. There is no delusion on his part that he's a good person trying to make the world a better place.

Because Wildlings being good boys today doesn't mean they'll be good boys forever.

According to those behind the show Dany initially planned on keeping her promise but when she saw the red keep it set her off. She's definitely a crazy person.
There is something funny though, there seem to be two main theories behind Drogon burning the iron throne. One makes him look smart the other makes him look dumb. The first theory suggests that he destroyed the iron throne because he realized that the quest for that throne is part of what made Dany go mad and thus destroyed the very symbol that lead her to take on her crazy ways. So essentially this one maintains Drogon is capable of abstract thought.
The second theory is that he's very dumb and destroyed the throne because Dany was killed by a dagger and Drogon thought the iron throne was some sort of dagger monster given all the blades on it lol.
