Odds are, we're seeing those planets and galaxies against him to scale.
Not "quite" the microverse, but if Snake Way takes up half the universe at a million kilometer's, we're talking the universal equivilent of a closet.

do realize that, since akira has no idea the things he writes in the comic he has no freaking clue about the things he writes outside the comic... And has essentially retconned that with Jaco

True enough. But I like the thought of a teeny, tiny Goku charging up a kamehameha against Batman, drawn out overly dramatic charging and all, only to switch to Batman's vantage point where he notices little more then a static electric shock. :
