May has a tacit agreement with the DUP for support, there is a saying in UK politics you never collude with the Ulstermen, even John Major didn't. The DUP are to the right of Trump, however, they have shown in the past they can be pragmatic. Personally, I see them as the worst type of far right loon.

It was apparently leaked by a spokesman for Theresa May who was in the room when she spoke to Trump on the phone. Likely one of the two advisors she just sacked.

She won't have to deal with it much longer. She'll be out very soon. Her cabinet and most of her backbenchers hate her. If by some miracle she holds on for a few months she'll achieve nothing and get hammered in the Brexit negotiations and eventually a vote of no confidence will be triggered in the House of Commons and she'll be gone and another General Election will take place in which Labour will win. Former Chancellor George Osborne described her as a dead woman walking. Former cabinet minister Anna Soubry said her premiership is untenable and she has to go.

Nah cos it's not about wrongdoing. It's about the government being unable to function. In the last Parliament the Tory government had an overall majority and so long as all their MPs voted for a particular piece of legislation then even if all the other parties voted against it then it would still pass. This time the tories don't have an overall majority and a large chunk of her party are against her so it will be extremely difficult to get any legislation passed. That means a government that can't function.
She doesn't have a hard Brexit stance. She campaigned to remain. That was the whole point of this election and her behaviour prior to it. She attacked the EU in order to win back UKIP voters then called the election early so she could win then she would soften her stance on the EU and try and normalise relations over the two year negotiation period.
The alternative was to start ramping up anti EU rhetoric later in the negotiations as she approached a general election which would result in a worse deal.
Is it possible at this point that Brexit just won't happen on any level? Or will it happen regardless of who comes into power over the next several months, just the "type" of Brexit may differ?
