According to the MPAA...
PG-13 rating - A middle ground, or as Steven Spielberg himself nicely put it, “a PG movie with a little hot sauce”, which is true if you think about it. Anything from one F bomb to a genocide without most of the blood and gore can fit here, but prudes complain about sex, so you’ll hear sexual references and see some visual sexual references that are not graphic but imply the nature of the scenes, in The Diving Bell and the Butterfly a man’s genitals are visible but only as he is paralyzed, breasts are visible multiple times. This would be rare to get away with this, but Doc Hollywood and Titanic got away with breast nudity. Nudity shown can be from the rear, the front cannot show genitals but possibly male pubic hair covering it (Rock of Ages), sometimes breasts but depends, sex cannot have movement, just rolling around, can have the male moan in the act, the woman must be toned down for some stupid reason.
