Was using, rather. Arcann's lightsaber dueling amp made no difference whatsoever, since Valkorion could bare-handed block it–but, when Valkorion chose to fry Arcann unconscious with his Force Lightning, Arcann's defenses (or lack thereof) improved/gained little.

Lol, hardly. Krayt unbalanced the Force, Luke didn't. Krayt > Luke??? Stuff happening differently doesn't indicate anything one way or the other. Sidious had already unbalanced the Force and made himself the fulcrum of that unbalancing anyway.
