Never let anyone else define you. Don't be a jerk just to be a jerk, but if you are expressing your true inner feelings and beliefs, or at least trying to express that inner child, and everyone gets pissed off about it, never NEVER apologize for it. Let them think what they want, let them define you in their narrow little minds while they suppress every last piece of them just to keep a friend that never liked them for themselves in the first place.

Was under the impression he just broke out of Black's hold on him during that moment out of strength and willpower, but if he actually healed from that, then cool. Said regeneration is kinda inconsistent or limited though since another impale from Black ultimately did him in (I'm not saying Goku Red has no limits as far as that, but yeah).
He mysteriously became far more powerful between that confrontation and the Future one, though. At that point he was strong enough to shrug off an assault from SSJB Vegeta...
Actually it seems he did, because there were no signs of his injury anymore.
No they weren't close. Whis even said that Beerus was always teasing him that he will use full power or even already using it (but actually far from it), just to bring the best out of Goku.

"I think you’ll understand if you watch [the movie], but Goku has already absorbed [Super Saiyan] God’s power and made it his own, so there is no need for him to transform into [Super Saiyan] God. Goku basically only thinks of fighting as a sporting match, so borrowing the power of five people isn’t fair, and he resisted doing that; however, it seems his curiosity towards the realm that lay even further beyond him won out."
-Akira Toriyama
Now this is in reference to BoG, but Beerus surmises the exact same thing in the anime. The manga outright confirms Blue's superiority.
Blue > Red.

Yet Red has way better Screen feats, almost destroyed half the universe and fought beerus at 100%, had unlimted ki, could not be damaged by normal attacks at Beerus at 100% besides the surprise attack, and regenerated from it.
Beerus 100%> Black
Name any screen feat SSB has above SSR that tops any of the feats I just described.
SSR is the true transformation. SSB is Goku's modified without help.
Beerus flat out admitted he was at or beyond 100% with SSR.
I know what Akira said, but we dont base it of "said feats" or "writers intent", its based on screen feats.
So we need screen feats to prove Blue or Black is above SSR

If we can use another canon source, which is manga, Hit would've stopped SSR's movement with time stop, if Goku didn't become SSB when he attacked Hit. Whis explained that unique ability such as time stop would work much better when facing someone equal or with lesser power level. Beerus even confused as why Vegeta wasn't able to overcome time stop in SSB, which Whis explained this form can't be used over and over in succession since it consumed a lot of stamina and Vegeta was only able to use 1/10 of his usual SSB strength.
That being said, SSB > SSR. This is the only way to gauge which one is superior. You can say SSR has a better feat such as universe threatening punch, regeneration, or even unlimited ki, which I don't know how you know it (I would like to see the source). But the proof already says otherwise.
