By Monday we will have the full domestic and international numbers.
The opening weekend seemed shocking because it was four to five times less than Suicide Squad's opening. Despite BOP getting much better reviews, people remember how much Suicide Squad sucked and it looks like a backlash.

SS got bigger names, bigger budget, better trailer and most of the cast were good.
BoP got no big names especially after they butchered the team, the trailer sucks and most of the cast were bad or even terrible, the Woke marketing and R rating also dealt a big blow.

I seriously don't understand why would some ppl in other places disallow others to criticize this movie. Especially comic fans.
Zack Snyder at least was trying to make the characters well(maybe except Batman), even though his approach was not liked by many.
This one simply had no respect for the source material characters, they were simply brought up to support Harley Quinn rather than getting what they deserve for their characters. Only the Huntress was OK because Robbie likes the character. For this it deserves to fail otherwise we will see more beloved DC characters get ruined.
Totally bored with the comic films coming out, we need something with a little more meat... Like Miracle Man (although Moore will hate it) or Planetary, something a little more "out there".
I have a feeling Bloodshot will be brilliant Bruce, hopefully we will get eternal warrior, A and A, XO, Solar etc next. Now that might be an interesting Superhero Universe, Spider Aliens and all. Get Jim Shooter in as consultant.
Of course, the producer has huge influence on a movie's quality. Robbie is the one to blame for this movie's failure, but remember they were never trying to do a real BoP movie from the beginning. It's not just a problem of execution, but direction as well.
Feige didn't come from nowhere as well, he had tons of experiences from other Marvel movies' successes and failures before MCU.
