When it comes to extreme heat the thing is more durable the goku. As for who I think would give dbs characters trouble, I think the hulk, surfer, and Hyperion ( from supreme power) from marvel. Dc it'll just be another supes vs goku, everybody else is bate for that fight.

Thor is waaaay stronger than the dbs characters, so his punch will equate to a lot from them hitting the hulk, which will become like an ant when gets angry.
He can casually catch machinegun fire from multiple shooters with one hand. He is quite fast but I don't see Son Goku fighting a hit and run style, unless someone has an example.
For surfer he can absorb a punch that will give him time to phase, read his mind, and suffocate goku. For hulk he'll just survive punishment. And Hyperion makes him his *****!
Hulk does have to be fast to moving out of the way of airbourne attacks, trust me, goku is going to want to change his mind when even though he's slow, his punches are THREATNING. I forgot, but Thor may have an edge if he uses the Lightning as a conductor to give him regen, but i'm not sure he still have it.
I'm going to wait on Hulk vs Goku till we see him fight Toppo again. It seems like that might indicate how he would fight someone physically stronger than himself.
That said, Goku has a bad habit of trading blows with people and he can't do that with true bricks.
Man the Hulk can take terrible punishment. Vector and gladiator have very POWERFUL blasts that was eating away at his regen and the hulk kept coming. He you switch the situation with goku, take punches and kicks can be easily passed off by hulk, it'll just anger him quickly and ruin goku' chances of survival because goku is going to be think if ki blasts is effective or not. And sorry Thor, you ain't replacing hulk, it's his role to be the strongest there is in the marvel verse. Beat hulk at what he's created to be, then WHAT? Aquaman?!
Superman goes beyond the register of goku's thinking in flight speed (hyperion from supreme too!). Remember when he used his speed to contain a nuke explosion? That's not some simple feat that should be ignored! Other research found that is beyond individual factors, supes is better and his INCREASE education levels (he knows the speed of the explosion compared to his own!) of participation in the containment of the explosion, makes his thinking to track goku easy to be effective! Superman have to meet the area of explosion before it becomes wider, so he's constantly fighting against expanding speed, containing the explosion, which is around Mach 3.
Also, livewire possess agents of particles that will still supes if it wasn't for the healing factor. The agents of BILLIONS of Volts takes staples of currents at outrageous LEVELS that makes supes healing factor go wild. In an open-world, there's no way to follow supes, but in a city, he will majority of the time be ambushed, it's his SENSES that helps him. A legion of attacks from electricity easily beats a ki blast, especially when the person is an agent of teleportation that let them cycle around the environment (GOG included!)! So in this case, teleportation plus speed is greater than just speed. Supes is just faster than livewire and gog that he can survive an encounter with them.
