Hey, I got my two shots.

Again - this thing doesn't make you invulnerable, you can still get infected and spread the virus.

With the amount of retarded anti-vaxxers and disinformation on this planet, we can be sure it's far from over.

Enjoy your little break while you can.

Haven't heard anything about the Lambda variant, Currently we've been dealing with the Delta variant here in Australia.

Am tired of almost always having to assume the worst, especially with how short life is, but if we get another nationwide lockdown or something to that effect, will cross that bridge when we come to it, but until then I'll keep doing what I can far as living my life or going out.

Some people that haven't vaccinated will learn to once they keep getting sick. There's still vaccinations going out that people are getting, and some that haven't gotten it yet will get it when they're good and ready.

For some though it may be too late. I have no doubt that some of the more recent covid victims in certain states and places died from their anti vaxx hubris in part, and took it with them to the grave. Their hubris gets not only themselves sick/infected or dead at worst depending on their health, but others around them as well.

I'm just sick of dickheads protesting the lockdowns here, It's not that hard to deal with

only thinking of themselves.

Then I'm informing you that the lambda variant has hit both our countries, Poland and Australia, already. New/modified vaccines will be needed.

But yes, the delta variant is the most immediate threat, if we're talking about sheer numbers atm.

In this particular case, it's the realistic approach.

Not pessimistic.

"Nationwide", lol. We're talking about the global scale, I remind you.

And no, some people never learn and most anti-vaxxers are among them. Just read what they're posting in GDF. Any post on any subject, really.

Hopefully the next vaccine that counters the delta variant and such doesn't take as long to develop as the initial ones we had gotten (which was already proven effective as it were), and thus the next lockdown won't be like over a year if it happens. Losing one whole year of normalcy was already bad enough, physically and mentally.

Natural selection will play its part for the worst of the anti vaxxers, regardless. Insert Apocalypse's darwinism speeches here.

After delta, we still need to worry about lambda and possible future variants laughing out loud

Meh, not really. Let's not blow this out of proportion.

The effects it's had on economy and labour market are truly devastating, though. And that I can't ignore, no matter how hard I try.

I wish you were right here, but I feel they might outlive us, same as they outlive decent posters right here on kmc.

Going through 1.5 years of a profound ongoing threat to your health/wellbeing/life, as well as social isolation, aggressive misinformation, political turmoil, and financial uncertainty is a pretty big deal. And yeah, the economy crashes too.

Oh yeah, ragesRemorse, or jinXed by JaNx as his name was later changed to passed away earlier, on that note. sad

And the other negative review so far (there's only 2), haha...
