He was competent. He overtook Sidious plans, seduced Ben, manipulated him into the death of his father, browbeat the galaxy into submission. Snoke is the greatest in Star Wars.
Arrogance. Competence is something you will never be. Anyone who can overtake and lead tne First Order is definitely competent. I suggest looking up the def. since you do not get it.
Says the guy who predicted Rey would easily trounce Snoke.
Snoke is the best.

I felt the beginning dragged a little too long to the buildup of Venom's debut but once that happened, the rest of the film was actually ok. The action (while I don't agree with tendrils being used outside Venom-mode) was alright and the banter between Eddie and the symbiote was pretty humorous. This movie isn't as bad as the critics say it is IMO.

Same with Sidious and Luke. Sidious and Maul. Sidious and yoda. Plans are not perfect by any means but he was clearly competent. Look up what the words actually means. Thanos is the greatest villain in the history of fiction. Voldemort is the greatest wizard of all time and Snoke is the greatest Star Wars character. You are forgetting the facts we do not know what he lived through and just focusing on his death alone. Weak case.
We do not need to since he casually decimated her. She humiliated Luke not Snoke. Luke feared her and lost his balance in a hilarious way. You claimed Luke would be this powerhouse not so much. It was Snoke as I claimed.
False no one is all knowing. Vader with one hand killed Sidious so even your own theory makes no sense. Vader was also defeated by Kenobi and left for dead despite beung less powerful.
Ok, so by your own admission Shiv survived facing the Greatest Jedi masters of all time, it does sound pretty competent to me. Who opposed Snoke so you inflate him to that status? What are his feats of overcoming difficulties?
Maybe in the future other fiction will prove that Snoke was competent to some degree, but so far, his better abilities seem to recognize Huxx's technological savvyness and give him status and power despite him being disliked in general. Other than such feat of recognizing the greatness in other, he doesn't stand out much at all.
So did dooku who was far less powerful. Yoda believed failure was the best teacher so he enjoyed incompetence. Sidious thought he was dead so his incompetence flared up and caught him completely unaware.
Sidious, Luke Skywalker, Rey, Han Solo, etc.
Snoke knew how to take over a force and brow beat the galaxy into submission. Snoke was amazing to do so.
