All four gifs 100% understood. Saw the Ultimate Edition twice.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: thumb up

gif 1: Single movement. Basically the equivalent of me jumping up and forward from a crouch and punching someone.... just with super strength and speed added.

gif 2: What proof have you that he even bother to disengage the arm from Lois' neck? If he hit him strong enough, there's a good possibility that his arms just get knocked loose. You know, the same your arms fly to the sides when you get tackled.

gif 3: Ok so he runs fast. Don't think that was ever in question.

gif 4: Best reactionary speed feat from Superman yet. Still less impressive than had he done that to multiple grenades, nevermind multiple bullets (which are smaller and travel faster than an RPG round).

Catching the grenade is actually less impressive than Abomination catching that rocket in TIH.

Just to clarify my point here people, I am not saying that Superman doesn't have super speed. I am saying that he seems to only be capable of doing them in short bursts and in usually simple maneuvers and actions. He does not seem capable, or at least has not shown the capability, to string them together into multiple combinations of actions.

You said "Superman does not perform complex maneuvers." Did you not?

No I did not say that. I said he does not perform complex maneuvers at super speed.

This is your opinion, this is not fact.

Then prove me wrong. So far everything you've posted only supported my "opinion".

If Grat's numbers are correct and that RPG was traveling at 170 mph, then that's even less impressive than Arrow characters catching arrows.

I already did two pages ago, you decided to duck out on it. But I see you want to carry this conversation on for eternity.

So since we are judging feats based on what a person hasn't done. Has wonder woman ever pulled a frigate through ice?

Except he does. Also Wonder Woman never fights in outer space, or tosses trains around, or gets hits by a nuke.

Only because you are incapable of addressing points properly. Trading regular speed punches while flying at super speed is basically... well, flying at super speed and throwing regular punches. That's like me punching your lights out while we're traveling on a plane. Our punches are still regular speed, regardless of how fast we're flying.

Every single "proof" you've posted has been Superman making simple movements in bursts of speed.

What does tossing trains around and getting hit by a nuke have to do with super speed?

Guess my analogies just went over your head. Arrows fly faster than 170 mph. If that truly is the speed of an RPG round, then Superman catching that is no more impressive than Merlyn catching an arrow.

You didn't even watch the clip I posted. Also I am sensing a chip on your shoulder, you seem to think you are the authority around here on feats.

Because you are basing this whole thing on "What Superman hasn't shown." I noticed you often get mad and upset in this debate, maybe this isn't your thing?

Are you kidding? On a plane, its a pressurized environment, your body is not experiencing being moving at 600mph because you are in that environment, you really have gone off the deep end with this one, this just shows you have no understanding of what you are talking about. I could rest my case after this latest from you on how ridiculous that argument is.

What has being in a pressurized environment have to do with my analogy? Just goes to prove you didn't understand my point. Again. We're not talking about durability, we're talking about speed. Durability (and strength) would be what is affected should we take away the pressurized environment.

Fine, let me make this simpler. You're traveling in a car going at 100 mph. Open all your windows while you're at it. You punch the person sitting beside you. Did you just punch a lot faster than you would have had you been standing still?

I'm not the one throwing tantrums around.Saying people that don't agree with me have chips on their shoulders. It also looks like you're purposely bating me.

The difference is comics aren't allowed and things that have been filmed are. this is after all the "movie vs" forum.
