Hamas are pieces of shit and Israel does have a right to defend itself and its citizenry. But Israel is far from blameless here.
I'd argue that treating people like 2nd class humans, destroying their homes via bulldozers and creating a diaspora is a form of "attack", granted, Hamas doesn't really give two shits about the Palestinian citizenry either, they're just disposable pawns to them and why Hamas hides weapons in schools and apartment complexes. But Israel is to blame for the conflicts and plight of the Palestinians as well.
