A Lebanon man who killed his wife in March, and dumped her body in a creek, is among the candidates to advance in a local election after Indiana's primaries Tuesday.
Andrew Wilhoite, who fatally struck his wife with a gallon-sized concrete flower pot, secured a spot Tuesday as one of three Republican candidates in the race for a seat on the Clinton Township Board.
The 40-year-old has been incarcerated in the Boone County Jail since March after police said he told investigators he threw a concrete flower pot at his wife, Nikki Wilhoite, the night before, and dropped her body over the side of a bridge.
Once again, Republican voters proving there is no bottom for them. All they care about is winning at any cost, and they will vote for anyone with an R after their name.

Stephen Kiesle, an ex-Oakland priest and sex offender, admitted to drinking two beers before rolling his car over a curb and fatally striking a man who was walking home with his wife, court records show.
Kiesle, 75, told an officer he drank "a homemade ale and a Pacifico" beer before driving his 2012 Lexus RX350. Police say the Lexus ran over a curb, killing 64-year-old Curtis Gunn and injuring his wife.
Four days later, prosecutors filed manslaughter and drunk driving charges against Kiesle, and bail was set at $600,000. In court records, a Walnut Creek policeman wrote that when officers responded to the crash, Kiesle was trapped in his Lexus and required extraction. He was the only person in his car.
Kiesle, who served six years in prison after pleading no contest to molesting a young girl in 1995, was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility Saturday night on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI, according to booking records.
Beyond Kiesle's criminal history, the priest has been named in dozens of lawsuits accusing him of sexually abusing minors, including several new lawsuits in recent years.
Internal church documents show church officials knew about the accusations against Kiesle for years but failed to act, likely leading to the abuse of more children. Even after being arrested and convicted for tying up and molesting two boys in 1978, the church allowed Kiesle to continue working. He was not defrocked until 1987.

Christian School Pastor Busted Again for Child Cruelty
A Louisiana pastor and headmaster of a Christian school who is also a member of the sate Republican Party governing board has been arrested for a second time on juvenile cruelty charges. John Raymond, 60, pastor of New Horizon Church in Slidell and founder of Lakeside Christian Academy, is an elected member of the Louisiana Republican Party State Central Committee.
Police said the new allegations include Raymond holding a 4-year-old boy upside down by his ankles and "whipping his buttocks" and in a separate incident covering the same child's mouth and nose with his hand to stop a "tantrum." Witnesses reported Raymond's actions prevented the child from breathing "to the point of him going limp." A staff member said the child was "out of it and lethargic" and "unable to stand."
Faith leaders at a tiny church in San Jose, where a three-year-old girl perished last fall, have confirmed that they performed a ceremony on the child to "liberate her of her evil spirits," but say what happened was "the will of God," not the consequence of an exorcism.

A Brooklyn Center man faces federal charges after he lit his own camper on fire to make it look like a politically-motivated crime, and then filed several fraudulent insurance claims.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Denis Vladmirovich Molla, 29, is charged with two counts of wire fraud in connection with the fire that took place on September 23, 2020.
Molla reported to police that someone set fire to his camper "because it had a Trump 2020 flag displayed on it," and spray painted the anarchy symbol, "BLM," and "Biden 2020" on his garage door. The U.S. Attorney's Office says Molla actually lit the fire and defaced the garage himself.
Molla then filed an insurance claim for $300,000; receiving $61,000. He also took in $17,000 via GoFundMe.
Okay, I can see his logic. Free insurance and a smear campaign. Kinda like the cartoon of mosques with ADL graffiti, or synagogues with swastikas, or idk, burning the Reichstag and blaming communists and Jews? Oh wait, only one of those things actually happened.
