Misconceptions about Dante from Devil May Cry

I've always seen people making the excuse that Dante isn't as durable as he appears to be.

The main reason why, is because he lost to Vergil.

News Flash: Yamato can cut through Dimensions, its the strongest weapon in all of Devil May Cry, so yeah, after getting slashed by it countless times, Dante was beaten.

But right after that, he got up and shrugged it off like it was nothing.

This is a guy who regularly gets stabbed through the heart, and the chest, and just pulls the sword out like its nothing, who gets a bunch of sharp blades stuck through his body and just acts like they aren't even there.

How anyone can think the guy isn't on the same level as Wolverine in terms of healing factor, I will never know.

Wolverines healing factor is plot. Logan came back from just a piece meat after he was blasted by nuclear blast I believe. So yeah, Logan's HF is better.

In DMC verse, anything with devil energy can hurt another devil.

Yamato is not the strongest blade in the verse, Sparda is.

Dante can be killed if you remove his heart or head. He needs does to survive. Go back and watch his fight against Abagail. Abigail stabbed him in the heart with Rebellion and Dante fell asleep until the little girl removed it.

He's never come back from anything like that.

What you're ignoring is 2 things about Logan.

1. He had a deal with Azrael, the Angel of Death. Every time he got injured enough to die, he had to fight Azrael. If he won, he came back to life. If he died, Azrael got his soul. That's what kept him going through some serious moments like when he got his head chopped off before he got his Adamantium. That deal was off the table for several years before he was killed off so his HF was nowhere near that strong.

2. His skeleton lets his brain remain intact so he can heal from stuff that would've killed him otherwise. Like when Nitro blew up and turned him into a skeleton.

Logan would die if his head got removed too, but Dante seems to heal much faster and casually ignore any pain he gets.

...So he didn't actually die...

...After being stabbed in the heart...

Yamato can slice through dimensions, its confirmed in the series.

Vergil is the only one to ever really do some real damage besides Abigail.

Nero was incapable of hurting Dante, despite having .."devil energy".

Where did you get this from, btw?
