i don't know, tbh. depends on how far he took it. there's probably a fine line between assault with a weapon and attempted murder and i wouldn't know where it's drawn. burning a building down with people in it is more cut and dry. far less need to hash out whether or not they intended to kill people.
but it's a funny hair to split since there is a clear pattern of actual murders committed by fascists in america, yet we're worried about this window and that bike lock.

Well, we could definitely split hairs here. Arson is not the same as attempted murder either, especially not if the building was empty. The guy who got hit with the bike lock could have died or suffered permanent damage, a person isn't difficult to kill when you hit them in a head with a metal object. Also, Antifa people have set fires to vehicles on the February, 2017 protests.
There's a reason why they're classified as a terrorist group.

i never made the claim that people were in the building, just that it would easily be attempted murder to knowingly set fire to a building with people inside. nor did i make the claim that bike lock guy was/was not attempting murder.

To be perfectly honest, I agree that declaring them terrorists is a bit much and kind of disturbing in its implications. They're not nice people, dangerous, yes, and should definitely be on some sort of a watchlist, but terrorists...

really i can't see them as anything more than rioters, and vanilla rioters at that. maybe that's just my own pov, since i'm old enough to remember the LA riots. even as f*cked as that was (they burned down a f*ckton of buildings), i still wouldn't call it terrorism. i wouldn't call it organized, either. i say that because i've never seen more than like 15-20 of them at a protest.
another thing that bothers me is the repeated implication that 'antifa' encompasses all anti-fascist counter-protesters. not your assumption, but i'm sure you've seen the shifting-definition strategy used. several slimey f*ckwits here tried it, and tried it hard.

It's hilarious these people don't get that lol. The people who routinely whine like little b*tches, attack people, smash shit, set stuff on fire...had their own shit burnt down.
I'm not even sure why adults need this explained to them lol. We've had Antifa in Europe setting cars on fire, etc. too. There is video of it on youtube of them doing it during a riot in Hamburg.

Some Antifa victims. The guy in the red shirt is the guy who got hit with the bike lock that someone else mentioned. Is it attempted murder? Dunno, but it was intent to do serious physical harm. Likewise just whipping a glass bottle at someones head can do serious harm as well, and I urge anyone here who doubts that to allow someone to chuck a glass bottle at their head and then get back to me. Despite comments from Rob in the past suggesting the worst they do is toss smoke bombs.
While mentioning Antifa and smoke bombs does conjure up the hilarious image of them at Berkeley throwing a smoke bomb and the wind blowing it right back in their faces with them then fleeing...smoke bombs are not the worst of what these cowards do.
