I am truly interested to see people come up with reasons why this post is wrong.

we have no nazi rallies, and antifa [by some f*cking crazy coincidence] never seemed to be a problem here either.

Um, didn't you sort of say that the people who were mowed down by a car weren't Antifa? You should make up your mind and stick with one narrative. I know it's multiple threads, but be consistent. Kthx
They were a problem at Berkeley. They were a problem at the Berkeley protests.

The Pro Trump rally in Seattle wasn't a neo nazi rally either.
The google protests were not neo nazi rallies. Yet they had to be postponed.

i'll reword it for you: in new jersey, antifa never really was an issue. i concluded that this is because new jersey does not allow nazi rallies. far out, huh?

Correction: Only one state lists them as such; New Jersey.
And unless or until the federal government designates them a domestic terrorist group, I do not know that it is proper to categorize them that way.
Perhaps the group in New Jersey is deserving of the designation, but when one of the chapters of Operation Rescue bombed an abortion clinic, the others were not immediately classified as terrorists.
likely just chris christie coddling our resident trumpers.

That has dick to do with peaceful protesters holding a counter-demonstration at a different location.
Anyone who left the Unite the Right rally in Emancipation Park to escape violence rather than engage in it did the right thing.
But nothing about that scenario compels them to then go downtown where the peaceful protestors were, to precipitate the very violence they were attempting to flee.
I know, that's why he's a peace of shit. Doesn't change the fact that there's nothing wrong with pointing out there was another group getting violent that day who needs to be dealt with. Not condemning that group right along with the Nazis encourages more of that kind of behavior from them.
Anti-Fa is simply an abbreviation for anti-fascist.
Anti-Fa cannot be said to be an organization any more than an ideology such as Communism or a tactic such as picketing can be said to be a specific group.
Anti-Fa are autonomous and not interconnected.
Some monitor racist groups and track Neo Nazi activities. Others pressure venues to cancel white power events. Some unmask and expose the activities of small groups of local racists. And still others resort to physical violence.
Anti-Fa is just a label adopted by different ad hoc groups. It is not a thing with a fixed identity you can outlaw or put on a watch list.
Don't their chapters keep in touch with other, coordinate for events, and chip in to bus their members to events? Don't they have a basic uniform that they wear and indentify themselves as a group? I mean it's not like they identify themselves by categories like "Antifa doxers, Antifa rioters, etc, they simply indentify as "Antifa". Sounds like an organizaton to me. The fact that some have different jobs within the group doesn't change the fact that they're a group...
