Bad experiences with Dell/Alienware?

The only thing that really matters for the TV is resolution. Sure there are other things like display latency and what not, but unless you're playing a competitive game that shouldn't matter very much. PC monitors aren't inherently better than a TV, just comes down to the individual model, really.

As far controller, yeah I dunno about ps2. I use my ps4 controller or an Xbone one.

And if you already playing consoles on the TV, a PC on it would operate the same way.

Yeah, I would use an Xbox One controller (or 360) because it has higher support for PC games but Steam has native PS4 support so it wouldn't really matter.
