Never let anyone else define you. It's actually gotten better, they still need to remove a couple things like those Time Capsule which IMO drove the game into the ground, but Exobytes have taken on new purpose. You no longer mod your gear they have a new cybernetic system that allows you to consume your Exo's and become stronger in so doing. Graphics have improved, as well as combat.
Prodigy would be my pick, everything would come naturally.

Ultimately my choice is Prodigy. While initially the weakest, with planning, time and resources he could easily build himself an Iron Man type armor and train himself to be a NW clone if not create a device that gives him superpowers.
