You are right the parties have changed the democrats went from a party of slavery and white supremacists to a party that has have driven wages down from illegal immigration, ruined cities like Chicago and Detroit. They have abandoned the working class to gain votes from minority groups(gays, muslims, blacks, hispanics), thinking they can get more votes then 70% of the country which is white.
