What would you pick in a Zombie Apocalypse?

The world goes full-on Walking Dead and you have to choose a weapon.

You can either take a pistol, with one full 12 round clip, or you can take a machete. But you can't take both. So, you either have a limited means of protecting yourself at range, or you have a weapon that doesn't require ammo, but needs you to be up close to use it. Of course, if you can survive long enough down the line, you could potentially find other weapons eventually. But this thread is about your initial choice.

So, which would you choose?

Eh, the zombie part isn't that bad, assuming slow-ass TWD zombies. It's all the other d***head survivors that are the issue.

Seeing as I feel like a lazy PoS right now, I will let you choose the make and model, with the only stips being it has to be a pistol, and the standard clip size for it must be 12 rounds.
