I never actually liked Jack, so it didn't really bother me. Plus he literally doesn't even need to. Like that's the part that makes it even less sad. Oh now I am slightly more powerful than I ever was, because I was more powerful than archangels before, so now I am going to leave cause Chuck wrote himself into the story. Instead of just being like... people gonna people and I am gonna just be normal, and not write peoples destiny...

You gotta like Jack going "I'm not gonna be hands on...well, starting after I resurrect Cas, free Bobby, and completely restructure heaven into a more inclusive matrix experience".
Also while I do like Jack the gut punch didn't come from that Jack was going, it was more the way Sam said "Goodbye Jack". He knew he wasn't ever gonna see Jack again while Dean still didn't seem to have truly grasped it. So there is a tragedy there, Sam was closer to Jack than Dean and yet Dean is the one who can't seem to accept Jack going.

The below link is about Dean, and summed up my feelings about his (and Sam’s) final fate in way better detail than I did in earlier posts, as it cited prior eps and characterization.
But yeah, it’s pretty much how I saw it/made sense of it!
He was talking about Earth, and stuff. Heaven needed saving though. I mean there was a point where it was nearly snuffed out because of not having enough angels and junk.
I'm not sure I really agree with it. Cause while Sam started out wanting out of the hunting life, in the last decade he has accepted it a lot more than Dean, who has multiple times wanted to just give it all up and get out. When Dean died in season 3, that was when Sam gave into the hunting life fully. Dean just wants family and to be needed.
I wonder if Sam stayed hunting, because his son had the tattoo. Plus if it was with Eileen, who herself was a hunter, really makes it seem unlikely but maybe he did.

Lol oh we had some drama. So in the spanish dub in the episode Cas dies after he tells Dean he loves him Dean responds and says it back. In the original version he says "don't do this".
So people flipped out, thought it was a conspiracy and CW edited out Dean saying it back, but it turns out nope that wasn't the case. There was no alternate ending, this was confirmed by Mischa.
Now they want to boycott the CW cuz...reasons. People try to insist Dean is gay or at least bi, it is weird. And the funniest part is the proof they use to show Castiel wasn't making a declaration of brotherly love was the line from Cas saying he can't have what he wants. But wait, why can't he have it? Cuz...Dean isn't gay or bi lol. Their own confirmation for Cas being gay also disproves Dean being gay or bi.
And, cuz people are snowflakes, Mischa even had to apologize for his "tone".
One thing I am hearing that adds to the rage is apparently several years ago they cut a scene showing Rowena was bisexual and hooking up with Charlie. Not sure why.

Lets be real, I joked about Cas being gay but there is little concrete evidence he is prior to this confession. I'd argue he was just not used to dealing with humans and that explains his interactions with Dean. He clearly showed attraction to several women. Why should this be celebrated, even if Cas and Dean literally had sex in front of Death? It would be obvious pandering. It's like JK Rowling making Dumbledore gay.
Maybe if we'd seen Cas struggling with these feelings and how to confess them to Dean in prior episodes(maybe a discussion with some random angel or something, obviously he can't go tell sam "hey i wanna f*ck ya bro yo")...but this was mostly out of nowhere and most fans wouldn't have suspected it if the show hadn't actively made fun of crazed fans in the past for Destiel and Wincest. Yeah remember that? The show used to *make fun* of people who read too much into this shit. So it is pandering, it's like when Nike hires Colin Kaerpernick so people forget about the sweatshops.
Speaking of Wincest, I went down this dark twitter rabbit hole that ended with me seeing people defend Wincest and say it's okay because it's two guys so they can't produce a retarded baby. *smh*

Honestly the more I think about it the more it was a mistake for them to have Cas pull that shit. It really does come off as pandering. Maybe if they hadn't mocked Destiel in the past, but they have. If there had been any genuine hint...
I'm curious how much the pandemic changed things. Without the pandemic I'm assuming we would have seen Cas in the final episode in heaven, but to what end? Just at the end waving to Dean alongside Mary and John and Bobby in heaven? Or would there be some weird discussion about his feelings for Dean? Cuz I can't see Dean even wanting to have that conversation. But what would they have done? Dean says "well I'm not into you in that way" and they spend eternity feeling awkward as f*ck around each other? Is Dean gonna f*ck hoes in heaven? Is Cas gonna be crying himself to sleep in heaven over this? Or will heaven provide him some imaginary Dean to f*ck?
If Jack really loved Cas he'd have provided him a Dean sex-bot.

Also especially when cosmic deities are trying to kill you and your friend is like "in love with you, kay, byyyye!"

Still bummed we didn't get any Crowley in the final season. Though we can't really blame covid I guess, not like he'd be in heaven.

It was nice to see Lucifer. Yeah it wasn't for long but he pulled off the biggest own by making Dean think Cas was still alive. That was worse than God snuffing the dog out after Dean found it.

Lucifer died knowing he was right about God all along.
Michael died all "oh shit I'm a cuck"
