That's where you're wrong. Your use of the word "business" is exactly why anyone from Russia would be interested in our US elections.
Similar to China, Germany, France, Japan, etc. Business is a big deal and getting political outcomes that favor your business is just good business. They math-heads run the numbers and determine RoI for these endeavors and really push and lobby for outcomes that realize that RoI strategy.

So remember, it's relevant to bring up Las Vegas in the NYC terrorist attack thread. It's not relevant to bring up russian interference in the US elections in a topic about russians influencing other elections.

Hi, Robtard. I don't believe that Russia caused or tried to prevent the Brexit. I do not see enough evidence. Nor should it matter if people in Russia or from Russia tried to do that.
I've not followed the specifics of this thread, I've just looking at the shittery, but Putin/Russia being a world player and attempting to interfere in other major world player's politics does seem plausible.
And this is why it disturbs me. It certainly wouldn't be shocking if evidence came that Russia tried to influence Brexit. But we do need to guard against people blaming Russia for any election result they happen to be triggered over.

They did and so did multinational corporations and other sources. The headline should say Russia used FB paid advertisements to influence public opinion while FB made millions selling the ads.....
