One of Downs’ first producers has also become a household name in America: Barbara Walters. The duo worked together again years later when Downs joined her on ABC’s “20/20” in 1978, where Downs remained until his 1999 retirement from broadcast.

Ennio Marricone, who won an Oscar for his work on Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, died in Rome due to complications following a fall, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Marricone has more than 500 scoring credits to his name and worked on iconic films including The Thing, Once Upon a Time in the West and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, as well television shows such as The Simpsons and The Sopranos.

Broadway actor Nick Cordero dies at 41 after months of COVID-19 complications
Nick Cordero's wife, Amanda Kloots, confirmed her husband had died following 95 days in a Los Angeles hospital. The broadway star was diagnosed with COVID-19 in April and suffered a series of related complications, including having to have one of his legs amputated. His wife said she and their son Elvis “will miss him in everything we do, everyday.”
