I lost my shit when baby Yoda [SPOILER - highlight to read]: started force choking Cara while she was arm wrestling Mando... Then again when he healed Carga. Good stuff.
It really was a shame to see [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Kuiil get killed, though... Really liked that character. But props to Disney for going darker than I figured they would.

So far for me , ranking the episodes:
3=7>2>1>6>5>4
And directors:
Chow>Famuyiwa>Filoni>Howard.
Hopefully last episode of the season by Waititi won't disappoint.
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Begone Thots!
I like that the child is a grey character. Just reacts to whatever happens around him. Not good or bad.

Really curious to see what future storylines they have for the Child. I don’t think he ends up with Luke’s Jedi Order, maybe he’ll factor into future movies or shows somehow.

Finally watched episodes 5 and 6. The rookie bounty hunter was incredibly annoying. This idiot really thought he could just take Baby Yoda from the Mando at gun point.
Episode 6 was pretty bad as well. The female Twi'lek was cringy what with sticking her tongue out all the time thinking she's hot shit. I couldn't take Bill Burr seriously either, I couldn't get his stand-up routine out of my head but I guess it's not his fault. I enjoyed seeing the Mando clean house and leave the tracker on the other twi'lek when he left though, that was funny and clever.
As others have said, him hopping from planet to planet just doing jobs for money is growing old. It feels like a weekly episodic cartoon where there is no overarching story. They gotta figure that out soon.

Someone compared it to a Saturday morning cartoon and I think that's accurate. I kind of like it but that's probably because I'm not binge watching it. Watching one episode every day or two and it's enjoyable that way.
They may hinting the effect of Mando killing people in front the kid and how Mando’s choices are influencing the kid’s path in the force.
He has a ton of inherent power but is still a baby and doesn't understand situations and uses his power inappropriately. By traveling with Mando hes learning to use violence to solve problems.
That could lead to interesting things
