Big question for me is: what happens to him now? Is he one of the students that Kylo massacred? Did Luke complete his training, and/or send him elsewhere prior to Kylo's betrayal?

"The Adventures of Luke and Grogu" could be a show on its own.

It's the [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Luke I think we all wanted to see in canon, doing what a Jedi *should* be doing.

Confidently strolls into an 'unwinnable' scenario, effortlessly clowns everything in his path with the utmost of ease, and vows to protect the youngling at all costs... Because he IS a Jedi, not a soulless burnout.
