Let's just be real for a second. If you live in the west, in a developed country, your life is better (materially speaking) than the vast majority of the planet. Aside from that, you're living better than royalty lived just a few hundred years ago. You have the most cush human life this planet has ever offered up. Even if you're on food stamps and shit. If you have a roof over your head, running water and electricity, then you are living the good life, statistically speaking. So man up and make something of it. Modern people are so ****in spoiled they don't understand all the shit they take for granted.
